In a large boiling pot, heat olive oil on medium heat. Cut sausage into small pieces and add them to the pot. Stir often and cook all the way through.

Add onion and garlic and cook until onions begin to soften and brown. Stir in canned tomatoes (do not drain from water), vegetable stock powder, tomato paste, fresh basil, parsley, oregano, and black pepper. Allow ingredients to cook together for about 5 minutes on medium to high heat.

Stir in brown sugar and almond milk. Bring to a boil. Add farfalle and stir often. Cook farfalle in sauce until tender, about 10-12 minutes. If sauce becomes too think before farfalle are finished, add a bit of water. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if you'd like. Enjoy!
