Protein “Snickers Bar”

Ingredients

Base

  • 150 grams dates
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 20 grams vanilla protein powder
  • 80 grams oat flour

Caramel

  • 50 grams dates
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/2 cup crushed peanuts
  • 100 grams dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Combine dates, peanut butter, and water in a food processer and integrate well. Add protein powder and oat flour and blend until evenly mixed.

  2. Fold "dough" onto a piece of parchment paper in a small rectangular dish or container. Place "dough" in the freezer for 30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, combine dates for the caramel, peanut butter, salt, and water in the food processor until completely mixed.

  4. After 30 minutes is up, remove "dough" from container and spread the "caramel" to completely cover the surface. Sprinkle peanuts on top and cut into bars according to desired thickness.

  5. Heat the chocolate in a small pot on low heat until completely melted. Dip each bar until fully coated and place back on the parchment paper. Once the bars are coated, place them in the fridge until ready to serve. Enjoy!
